Seichim (pronounced "SayShim") comes from the Egyptian word sekhem which means "the power of powers" or might.
Seichim is a multidimensional light energy form which is very ancient and sacred. Seichim is an advanced form of hands on healing involving sounds and symbols. Seichim dissolves barriers to the higher-self, strengthens and activates the light body and opens and enhances one's connection to Angelic Guides, the Ascended Masters and higher sources(God).
It is said Seichim is the parent energy of all hands on healing systems. Reiki and Seichim work together to develop a greater sense of meaning, purpose and an expanded awareness to the universe which assists with finding his or her soul purpose of self, bringing balance and harmony to all facets of life.
Seichim was rediscovered in the early 1980's by an American Reiki master teacher, Patrick Zeigler. Patrick prayed, meditated and waited to be empowered, much the same way as Dr Usui did when he rediscovered Reiki. Finally Patrick has a vision of a divine feminine energy form, thought to be Quan Yin, as she is so often present when Seichim is being channeled. It is believed it was she who gave Patrick the sounds, symbols and the information necessary to initiate himself and to share the process with others.
Later Patrick met Tom Seaman from Idaho and initiated him into Seichim. Together they met Marat, an old Seichim teacher from Southern India, and he passed on the history of Seichim asit it had been handed down to him by his teachers, and their teachers before them. Marat told of how Seichim originally came from Egypt, was translated and transcribed from hieroglyphs by the Shin Ton Buddhists of that time and take back to India and Japan.
Around this time Mongolian hordes descended upon them and conquered the area. Many fled and retracted to the safety of the mountains of Tibet before later moving onto China, India, Japan and other parts of the world including Australia and the Polynesian islands.
Perhaps this explains the many similarities between hands on healing systems such as Reiki, Regennisis, Kiforce, Seichim, Huna Karne and others.
